Oya-Baka ka na...
Well, our daughter has finally arrived.
Ami Cristina Nolley was born on May 2, 1999 at 11:55 in the
afternoon at El Camino Hospital, in Mountain View, California.
She was a medium-sized baby at 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 19 1/2
inches. Kahoru went into labor at 1:00am, her contractions
quickly went from 15 minutes apart to 5 in less than an hour. We
headed to the hospital and soon Kahoru was settled in the labor
and delivery room and the waiting game was on.
10 hours later, Kahoru was dilated only 7 centimeters although
contractions were coming regular and strong. Dr. Grolle decided a
Cesarean Section was the better way to go to minimize trauma on
both Mom and baby. 30 minutes later Ami arrived kicking and
screaming.
