Ami at 1 year

Well, Ami is now a year old. She continues to be a happy healthy little girl. We visited Japan again and also took Ami to Hawaii for the first time. I think Ami will grow up as an island girl, she had a wonderful time. Here are some milestones:

• No more crawling, walking is her means of travel these days.

• Down to one afternoon nap per day of 1 1/2 to 3 hours.

• 2 1/2 feet tall and 24 1/2 pounds.

• 11 teeth fully in or showing.

• Can climb down from the couch by herself and climb up on to (much to the horror of Mom and Dad) many things by herself.

• Her first words (that really mean anything) were mamma and dadda.
